Rare Vintage Rowney Solid Sterling Silver Bijou Watercolour Paintbox
A rare and highly collectable solid sterling silver paintbox, produced by Rowney for the world-famous and renowned department store Harrods.
Produced in limited numbers in 1977, this bijou paintbox contains six quarter-pan artists' watercolour paints and an original miniature Rowney paintbrush.
The box has a lid that folds out and a fold-out lid that can be used as a palette.
Perfect for plein air painting or as a collectable. Once the paints are used, you can add new paint by cutting down half-pan watercolours.
The paintbox comes in its original card box and with a leather pouch.
The box is hallmarked in three places and includes a Queen Elizabeth ll stamp.
