An antique travel writing box with original lock and key.
This charming piece has space for business cards, writing paper and envelopes, or you could turn it into an art supplies box for your small tools and various watercolour papers.
On the inside, there are three holders for two pens and a letter opener. The front opens out to form a small writing desk.
The box shows signs of wear due to its age. The paper on the writing desk is quite worn and pitted, and there is some wear to the outside of the box.
The dimensions of the bottom lip of the box are 35.7 cm x 12.4 cm. The overall size of the box is 33.5 cm x 10.5 x 22.5 cm.
The colour of the box is very dark green.
